Survived week 1 with a 2-2 record. Don’t scoff at a break even week betting NFL games. After way too many years in the trenches of gambling on football, I can tell you, a 50-50 week is a good week! Enough rationalization, let’s get busy.
1. PLAY 1. Pats -3 vs. @Jets–I know, Brady looked like chopped carrots for three quarters, but did you see him in the last 2 minutes? Anytime I can get Brady vs. a rookie QB for 3 points, I’m jumpin’. Take the Pats…it will be over by half time!
2. PLAY 2. Saints -1 vs. @Eagles–Don’t let the reports fool you…McNabb can not play for long with a cracked rib. The Saints were the only team that looked in mid-season form last week. This is a no brainer. Blow out!

3. PLAY 3. @Bills -5 vs. Bucs–The Bills looked pretty good for 58 minutes. Fred Jackson will run all over TB, and TO will have one of his annual 3 or 4 big games this week. I still believe the Bucs are in the basement of dog-meat teams in the NFL. It’s been 6 years (seems like 60) since the Bucs dismantled the Raiders, 48-21 in Super Bowl XXXVI.

4. PLAY 4. G-Men +3 vs. @The Boys–I love these games…wrinkled Jones stalking the sidelines, washed up Cowboys everywhere, and one of the best rivalries in football. I usually like the dog in this game. Look for Jacobs, the giant Giant to run on the Boys all day, and Romo to throw a few picks. I know, Jessica is history, however, Dallas still takes a lump! I’ll even predict final score…G’s 27-Boyz 17.

5. PLAY 5. Colts -3 vs. @Fish–Manning to Wayne twice…Manning to Clark twice, manning to someboys else once…game over! The Colts started slow, but take it up a notch this week. It’s not stealin’, but as close as it gets.

6. PLAY 6. Saints-Eagls over 46– The only thing that worries me about my “Total” play this week is it looks too easy. Gotto go with the only team that looks like they can score 50 each week…the Saints.
