Think Drew Brees (with the help of Alfonso Ribeiro) and the New Orleans Saints got a shot to repeat? If so, you’d better log onto the sportsbook and get down a Super Bowl bet on the Saints to do it right now! Fair Super Bowl odds can be found on most of the teams still fighting for a playoff spot! Log on and bet on Super Bowl 2011!
The holidays can be a magical time for sports fans. Combining bowl games, the NFL nearing the playoffs, a few marquee NBA matchups, and time off from work and/or school is a wonderful, wonderful thing. For those same reasons plus the fact you may have a little extra cash, the holidays can also be a tremendous opportunity for degenerate gamblers to enjoy their hobby. And by “enjoy their hobby” I mean bet their Christmas bonus they worked so hard all year for, much to the chagrin of their family who doesn’t understand the pressures of this work-a-day world and the release provided by some good, ol’ fashioned wagering.
Sure you could continue betting on the NFL as you’ve done all year long, but where’s the fun in that? After all, it’s the holidays! (An excuse which can be used for anything you do between Dec 1st and MLK Jr. Day) For recreational purposes only, here are a few money lines to add some excitement (but not necessarily win you money) to the time you should be spending with your extended family.
1. Best Supporting Actress: Mila Kunis, Black Swan +450
For many of the Golden Globes categories, there are CLEAR favorites but this one is an exception. Melissa Leo is the favorite at +180, but not a strong one. Black Swan is also the kind of movie that is going to pick up momentum heading into award season, giving it a good shot at taking home some awards. Plus, when are you ever going to have the opportunity to wager on Mila Kunis again?
2. Score The Most Points Between Dec 31 and Jan 1: Wisconsin +1000
If any team can score points in bunches it’s Wisconsin. And they absolutely eat up undersized defensive and offensive lines… which is precisely TCU’s biggest issue against BCS conference competition. TCU may be better but if Wisconsin does win, they will win big. Probably.
3. World Cup 2014 Winner: Brazil +350
Consider this a down payment on watching the World Cup. Brazil is the favorite, sure, but they’re hosting so they have to be overwhelming favorites. You may not make a lot of money, but this is as close to a sure thing as you’ll ever find for an event 3 1/2 years away.
Now, please enjoy this bonus video. It’s not often that you can parody inexplicably ubiquitous pop star Ke$ha and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker/destroyer of worlds James Harrison in the same song, but the guys at PM Sports have found a way.
