In our third episode of “Raise the Stakes!” we discuss a film that blasts subtlety right in the face. I’m speaking, of course, about Hobo with a Shotgun. We break down the trailer for the upcoming grindhouse film, and then share our IMDB comment of the week:
Next we share a new site we’ve discovered, the Internet Movie Firearms Database.
And finally we close we a new segment called “Pitchin’ a Fit” in which we pitch ideas for films. This time we solicited gun-related movie titles to use as a jumping off point. We’d like you to vote in our poll to let us know which one you’d most like to see turned into a movie. A brief description of each is below, but for more details (and to hear about the Russian remake of Commando), listen to this week’s episode.
And if you’d like to contribute to the next episode, please give us two professions you’d like to see cross paths in a romantic comedy.
