Apologies for the long absence. Hopefully we’ll be back to a weekly or at least semi-weekly schedule soon.
In this episode we discuss the amazing live stage version of the 80′s action bromance Point Break, which is put on weekly in Los Angeles as well as other cities across the country. This production really captures the raw emotion and energy of the film, mainly by casting Keanu Reeves’ part with a random person from the audience each night who reads all of his (sometimes her) lines off of cue cards.
It’s absolutely hilarious, and we recommend checking it out if you have the opportunity. In the meantime, we discuss other films that we think would be equally funny if brought to life on stage.
